SPOILER ALERT!
Director Marc Webb has come out with his second installment to the amazing Spiderman series and indeed has left the audience amazed. Compared to The amazing Spiderman this movie is twice the fun. Taking advantage of the 3D technology Webb has provided the audience with some breathtaking visuals and absolutely brilliant cinematography. The film has got its 3D part bang on target however again where it gets beaten is the storyline. This film has a lot of emotions flowing through it with the break up being faced by Peter (Andrew Garfield) and also the death of Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone) eventually. However, three super villains does not make any sense.

Jamie Foxx is brilliant as Electro, a spidey obsessed fan ignored by all and who does not understand the fact that even superheroes have human memory. However, justice has not been done to his character, he hardly faces Spiderman for half an hour in the entire film and spends the most of the film locked down in a military base after he faces Spiderman for the first time in a 15 minute scene and is defeated till Harry Osborn sets him free. The character had the potential to entertain the audience single handedly throughout the movie like Dr.Octopus in Spiderman 2. Now, coming to Harry Osborn, his character was a good support for Electro in the film however the reason behind him turning into the Green Goblin does not fit in and is absolutely foolish. I strongly prefer the Green Goblin and the story behind becoming one from the first spidey movie in (2002) a role portrayed brilliantly by Willem Dafoe.
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn is acceptable but will have to prove himself in the third installment.
Webb kept in mind the audience’s question of what happened to Peter’s parents and has given the story behind it. Humour has been added and appreciated in the film. The character of Rhino… well lets not waste time on it, it has NOTHING to do in the whole movie. More secrets are discovered by peter about his father in this movie. Pure revenge is each villain’s reason. Two foe’s (don’t count rhino as a foe yet) one superhero, great action scenes, revenge in every sub plot between the characters and not to forget the 3D. Webb needs just another great film and we can call him the new Sam Raimi.
If you haven’t seen it book you tickets now! Do not miss this movie because of the dull first installment. Catch it only in 3D because that’s what you’ll enjoy it best in. I don’t know why it was even released in 2D in the first place. Hurry before you miss it!!
