So after ten tumultuous months at Old Trafford, David Moyes is sacked. To be quite honest, it was inevitable for some time now, with the news coming in through this dramatic, two-line announcement:
Now, I always liked David Moyes. He has done immense work with Everton for eleven long years, building the team up from scratch. But ever since he has been picked by Sir Alex as the “Chosen One”, things have only gone downhill for the Scotsman.
It’s too early right now for me to write a serious article on his departure, so I’m going to be a bit comical right now. The second part of this series shall have an in-depth analysis of what went wrong for David Moyes.

Now I’m no romantic; I’ve only had one sustainable relationship since 2006- with football. But suddenly, all the songs make sense now. I’m not even kidding. Take a look here if you want to:
"Bittersweet memories, that is all I'm taking with me. So goodbye. Please don't cry, we both know I'm not what you need”
- Whitney Houston.
It is a sad day indeed, for all football fans. After twenty six years of seeing Sir Alex build an empire, all of us saw it fall apart, brick by brick, in front of our own eyes. After the loss at Everton, it wasn’t possible for United to qualify for the Champion’s League football next season, for the first time since 1982. Eleven defeats at home meant that they have one of the worst records at home this season; and their away form is not something to proclaim as well. Even after all this, Moyes has been good at the job, as shown below:

Moyes has done yet another mammoth task: bringing together rival fans. You can see fans of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and City all agreeing and laughing at him; at the nosedive which such an established club has taken. I never thought I’d have such a discussion in my life, but yet, here I am. Thank you, David Moyes.

Right, so there it is. My comical analysis of the situation which is at hand. Once I fully process and research on the same, I shall post a better and more serious article. Till then, let’s all just laugh at the Champions of England right now.
