Manchester Utd’s Manager David Moyes is “Glad to be in Europe” and is “looking forward” to his club’s clash with the current UEFA Champions FC Bayern Munchen.
I am sure that 19 March’s 3-0 win over Olympiacos and the 4-1 win over Villa has given the players of Manchester United and (most of all) to David Moyes, a proportionate amount of breathing space which was desperately needed. A manager who has had his worst season ever in his whole career has finally seen a spark of hope which may serve to be the turning point for him and for Manchester United, irrespective of the 0-3 mauling at the hands of their arch-rivals.
Manchester United have an extremely pressurizing and tough match ahead of them, facing a team who has been unbeaten for 50 Bundesliga matches and are nevertheless the current UEFA Champions. The Champions League remains their last chance to win some silverware and indeed, grace the UCL the following season. However, these two facts do not seem to deter a determined David Moyes and his team. Nor did that "Wrong One - Moyes Out" banner.
With Robin, their saviour from the Olympiacos match injured, things are looking in the downside for Man Utd, not like they previously were not. Quite a few of Bayern Munich's players feel that Man Utd are not in form, but are sugarcoating their statements by saying, “they are a still a very good side”. Well readers, I am going to sum this article up now by saying a side which is not in good shape can still shock the current champions, like how Arsenal defeated Bayern 0-2 at their own home this time last year. Hopefully we will get to see ‘Manchester United’ with “the Winning Habit”. All you football fans, be prepared for the 1st of April for one of the biggest and worst clashes of this Champions League, which will take place at the legendary Old Trafford Stadium.
Let’s see if it signals nightmare or ecstasy for David’s side.
