In today’s technological world, one of the biggest questions comes to our mind when we have to buy a new mobile phone. There are just so many companies that offer smartphones, giving us a wide range of options to select from, so which one do we choose?
Well, companies like Samsung and Apple are tycoons in selling the costliest standard phones. What is a ‘standard’ phone? Today, people prefer to buy a phone because of its brand name even though a lower cost phone may have the same features. The most popular reason given for this is that they want a phone with ‘long life’, i.e. which lasts from 2-3 years. However, you can get the same features in a low cost phone and even they last quite long!
You can see the slow change already happening. Micromax and Karbonn have affected the sale of Samsung phones! Even then, Samsung leads the mobile market by introducing new features in every phone they release. We could say that even LG is giving a good competition.
Nokia, after teaming up with Microsoft, is trying its best to cope with Android phones and we could say that it has been successful to a certain extent. Windows phones are not that popular to use; however, after the launch of some of the latest Nokia phones with competitive features to Android, they are trying to gain the attention of people.
Apple phones… well, they are always there to giving tough challenge to all other companies. Most of the Apple users are ‘Permanent’ users of Apple products, as they are happy with the iOS services.
And then… THE WORLD’S SLIMMEST PHONE! ‘GIONEE ELIFE S5.5’. It is only 5.5mm thick! This phone comes with a octacore processor, one that anybody could boast about.
And to give Gionee ELife a dreadful fight, Samsung has launched S5. This has been launched after the success of S4. This phone has some of the most amazing features, but its price will sure pinch you.
Companies like Intex and Panasonic are not designing too many phones, which has made them lag behind in the mobile market.
HTC - the company that first launched the Android phone - is doing a distinctly average performance in the market to compete with companies like Samsung so far. It still needs to develop its features and satisfy its customers.
Sony has also become the second best brand in the mobile market in value as well as style and long-lasting capacity. The Xperia series is one of the highest sold phones of Sony. It is proving to be a challenging enemy to Samsung and Apple.
One company that has lived up to people’s expectation is XOLO. It has launched some phones with amazing features and Intel processor, but more importantly at reasonable prices!
There are way too many options given to us. Most of you would say Android phones, because that is comfortable for normal use and its exciting features. However, if you want to get a bit formal, I’d suggest iPhones.
There was a time when the lowest priority was given to Nokia phones. But with Windows, it has suddenly become a great attraction for people.
So that’s it about my analysis of different companies offering different mobile phones.
I hope you like it. Till then, take care.
