Dear homosexuals,
Being gay is a crime. You cannot defy traditions and customs created by our forefathers for the betterment of the planet, even though the two of you love each other and may be wonderful humans individually.
Being gay is a disease. If you're in love with a person of the same sex, you shall not be treated with respect, you shall be bullied and humiliated in front of each other, whilst your significant other wouldn't have a choice of saving you from it.
Being gay is dangerous. Yes, you cannot rape a person of the same sex; yes, you cannot get a person of the same sex pregnant; and yes, you have a potential power to control the population of your nation, but being gay is dangerous in so many ways. It may not be contagious, but it is outrageous.
Being gay is frowned upon. If you are attracted to a person of the opposite sex then, and then only, are you going to be respected and loved by your family, or else, you will be cursed and murdered emotionally.
And lastly,
Being gay is torturous. It is mandatory for a homosexual couple to keep their relationship a secret because if parents are notified of this, their corresponding neighborhood will look at them with disgust and will be unappreciative of their existence.
I will never grow up.
Yours sincerely,
Society.

Thinking about it from society's point of view, it seems odd, doesn't it?
Why is being gay such a huge problem?
The laws regarding LGBTs in countries like USA, UK, France, etc. are so lenient. (Yeah, I checked them out.)
If India talks about adopting the "western culture", why don't we actually do it?
Do you know what I think?
I think that even if certain laws are passed for the advantage of homosexuals in this country, things are never going to change.
If you were to turn gay tomorrow, what assurance do you have, that just like the constitution supported you, your friends, family, neighborhood, etc. are going to?
Here's another way to look at it!
"When you're a gay couple getting married, who gets the bachelor party? Who goes downstairs in the middle of the night to check on the noise? Who forgets the anniversary? Who refuses to stop and ask for directions? And which one of you will take forever to get ready?"
: David Letterman
I am not homophobic.
You shouldn't be either.
Don't be such a "gaycist".
