So are we all grown up? What's your definition of being 'Grown up'? You understand things better? Know more? Have better experience?
I quote Cecelia Ahern...
" ...children learn much more, far more quickly than adults. Do you know why that is? Because they're open-minded, because they want to know and they want to learn. Adults, think they know it all. They grow up and forget so easily and instead of opening their minds and developing it they choose what to believe and what not to believe. You can't make a choice on things like that: you either believe or you don't. That's why their learning is slower. They are more cynical, they lose faith and they demend to know things that will help them get by, day by day. They've no interest in the extras but...It's the extras that make life." - If you could see me now
Meet Ivan, an amazing person, full of optimism and a child-like view of life(something that's hard to achieve), and the most wonderful friend one can have. Although, not everyone can see him. He's what these 'non-believers' call an 'imaginary friend'.
He's here to help, anyone who asks for help, and he's available to anyone who believes. But that's all he's here for. He comes, helps and goes. So what happens when for the first time, he's to help someone his age, instead of smaller. What happens when he falls in love?
Cecelia Ahern once again captivates you with the uniqueness of her plot and her magical way with words. She makes you believe in the unbelievable. And she takes you on a ride, away from the so called 'realities' of the world.
Read of unique, twisted Ivan Elbisivni(Invisible) from the land of Ekam Eveileb(Make Believe).
And don't forget...keep an open mind...and believe!
"That was all part of giving someone a piece of your heart; they ended up taking a whole chunk of your mind and reserving it all for themselves."
P.S. Don't let growing up affect your view of the world.
